Shari Sweeney, B.S., Research Assistant II

Shari Sweeney joined the Global Vaccines team in July 2010. She has assisted on the HIV chimeric vaccine project by managing Global Vaccines’ satellite facility at the Carolina Vaccine Institute located at UNC Chapel Hill and performs ancillary tasks for the main laboratory such as mainline cell culture for BSL 3 and BSL 2 level experiments, managing the mouse colony, phenotyping and genotyping mice for critical experiments as well as providing support on large scale experiments by performing various techniques such as western blot analysis and flowcytometry. Shari is also the main producer of RNA for the company’s chimeric vaccine and adjuvant technologies. |
