The People Who Are Global Vaccines
When it comes to disease, the Earth has no borders. But it does have an insidious, invisible boundary line: On the one side are those benefiting from public health advances on which much of human progress rests. On the other are those left out, including the more than 4,000 children who die each day for lack of vaccines.
It is up to us to close this unjust divide and end this needless suffering. In doing this, we not only protect children’s right to health, but we also help fight poverty.
We have the knowledge, the resources and the responsibility to accomplish these ends, and for the first time in history advance a truly global health revolution that will extend the fruits of progress to all children, rich and poor.
